There are currently 16 Themes for Mirror Assemblies, of which seven match the Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEAL) Themes, another five match British Values themes, and four separate themes. One special theme, MIRROR MOODS is dedicated to reflective music which can be used throughout the year for any assembly. In addition, there are four general themes, MIRROR MOODS, JOURNEYS, FESTIVALS and OUR WORLD which can also be used at any point during the year.
Also, more general themes will be added along with additional assemblies for current themes. Purchasing schools get access to any new materials added to their themes as soon as they are posted. A theme called “Feelings and Senses” is planned, following feedback from our purchasing schools.
Within these themes, there are materials suitable for Lower Primary and for Key Stage 2 as well as some materials that can be used throughout the Primary age range. The 16 themes for Mirror Assemblies will be continuously expanded and more themes introduced to match the changing focus and themes in Primary School Daily Assemblies.
Finally, you may like to know that many of the assemblies feature Values used by many schools.
