Mirror Assemblies aims to ensure compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and this policy is intended to provide proof of compliance.

Mirror Assemblies is a very small company making and supplying Primary School Assembly materials and associated music with appropriate licences for schools.

This Policy is to ensure that Mirror Assemblies:

  • Is open about how it stores and processes data about individuals‘ data

On rare occasions, Mirror Assemblies uses Third Party Data processors such as Mail chimp who plan to by GDPR compliant by May 2018

  • Currently, only the CEO has access to all data held by Mirror Assemblies. Any employees only have access as per the needs of their role within Mirror Assemblies.

Mirror Assemblies asks for individuals to give explicit consent BEFORE potential newsletter subscribers submit their personal data. This is in clear, understandable, plain language, free from legalese.

It clearly presented and not buried in with other “terms & conditions.” Consent is as easy to withdraw as it is to give.

Mirror Assemblies is able to provide access to individuals requesting to know what information Mirror Assemblies holds on them.

Mirror Assemblies honours and respects the Right to be forgotten by giving individuals a simple way to withdraw consent and delete personal data collected from them.
